Took my FG Baja out for a bash today and shredded the plastic spur gear.
I want to replace it with alloy, The two things i want to know is
1. Do i have to get an alloy gear carrier.
2. Where is the best place to get 46 tooth alloy spur gear.

Thanks. Cuz.. :D

Yes,get a matching pair, they are priced together anyway, some people prefer to have an alloy gear carrier fitted with a plastic
gear, the reason being that if you have a bad landing or crash and the plastic teeth strip and you don't damage anything else
like shafts or your diff it's like a safety device,so a plastic gear is cheaper than a diff :)
