looking at maybe 40 or 30 tickets at around £10 each.

Sounds good to me if winner can choose which engine suits his application.40 tickets@£10 should cover all options, and if the tickets sell well any profit could be rolled into some G P stickers. I'll pledge to buy at least 2 tickets.Raffle to be filmed at your house with the local vicar Let's get some support going!

I presume the idea of the raffle is for members benefit,to create some interest, and some fun.So if Stevo is supplying at cost and all goes well with sales of tickets, why not have a second or runner up prize to be decided when ticket sales close, and if possible have a running ticket sale countdown on line for people to see?

There is a site that does the raffle for you, they use it on another forum I go on. It works well to as anyone can see the results.

Nothing as yet

these are all great replies lads.thankyou.
i think the first raffle would be simple.
32 tickets at £10 each for a tuned stevo engine 2 bolt there will be no extra tickets and this covers cost only as it is a non profit raffle just to generate fun and promote both gotpetrol and stevo tuning.
can you put out any feelers as too how many tickets you or a friend would like so we can try and launch it?
thanks guys.
ps. jason that sounds like a good idea.

why not use the lottery to pick the winner let the bonus ball be the winning no. we have used this way in many a raffle after the last ticket is sold then the next sat lottery pikes the winning no. no way any one can fix it and it is Darwin live on tv . just a thought...

Yes i think that is a really good idea using the bonus ball if the number that comes is to high we use the first number out or if thats to high then the next one untill there is a winner. once all tickets have been sold then a date will be annoucned by the organiser
